Why We Like The ASSOS Mille GTS Bib Short C2
We like a comfortable bib short that's compressive but not restricting. When we're riding up a canyon with burning thighs and the will to power through, the last thing we want is discomfort from our bibs or jersey. Assos designs gear for these moments so athletes can carry on pedaling through the tough stuff without a hitch. The brand's T GTS - Mille GT C2 Bib Short ensures that riders will have a good time on their bike, whether it's a training session or a Sunday morning ride with the group. Custom fabric blends, a refined insert, and a versatile fit ensure lasting comfort on all rides. For a performance-based balance, the Mille elastic interface insert is employed with 8mm of memory foam to ensure cushioning, and a 3D waffle perforated foam increases breathability in turn. Lightly compressive 4-way stretch ensures flexibility in the bib's fabric, and superFlat grippers keep everything in place without excessive pressure. Reflective accents offer additional safety measures in low-light situations.

Great bibs for long rides
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
About 500 miles on these bibs and I am really impressed. Awesome construction and materials. Comfortable on 8hr+ rides. Assos is expensive, but worth it IMO.

Nice pad but too short
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- XL
Well constructed shorts and a nice pad but they are considerably shorter than expected. I'm 6'0"/190lbs/34"inseam & these are XL. I ordered the "normal" version and not the long. Would have returned but discovery was made after wearing and they'll likely be worn under MTB shorts- again, nice pad. Have recently (within past year) purchased Giordana's FC-R short and Rapha's Brevet short. FC-R are favorite (well constructed, great pad) and Rapha's are super nice (great fabric, don't like pad as much as FC-R but still really nice). The Mille GTS C2 are nice bibs but for the price, I'll order another pair of FC-R instead for the next pair of high bibs in the rotation.

New bib shorts
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Small
I went from size M to size S; read good reviews about these bib shorts and agree. Snug fig but comfortable. I’m very much a recreational rider, buy I like to push myself. I ride at elevation 2000 -2200 m above sea level with lots of climbing and downhill descents, long stretches of flat with head, cross, and tailwinds. Rides are at a minimum of 2 and up to 3 1/2 hours (goal is to reach 100 km). Independent of the conditions or length of the ride, these bib shorts are never an issue.

My Go-To Bib Shorts
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Extra Large
I have been wearing and still wear the Assos ST.100 Cento Long Distance bib shorts, rotating them with two other pairs of well-known, highly respected brands. I began to experience chafing in the other two brands, but not the Assos and I had always preferred the Assos over the other two brands for comfort. Wanting to get another pair of the same Assos, I discovered they weren't offering that model. I wrote to Assos, and they recommended these Mille GTS C2 bibs, and they're just as fantastic. I ride for over two hours and find these exceptionally comfortable, well-fitting, well-crafted, and intelligently designed. The chamois and fabric are top-notch.

Do not fit me well
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

- xl
I get why so many love these bibs. They are really comfortable on long rides. I have two complaints. One has only to do with my build. The other is nit picky and probably few will have the same issues. The sizing on the Assos site is terrible, at least for my build. According to them, using my measurements, I should be a large (34 waist, 42 hips). The extra large, not large, I ordered are really tight. They do have a hip measurement but not a leg measurement. I am not sure how my hip measurement translates into a large as the XL is difficult to put on. The legs are even worse. The worst problem is I have a long body and short legs so the legs run long and chafe. Going up another size does not seem an option. I might be able to get use to it. They are not kidding when they say these fit narrow (my words). I am a mountain bike rider and will sometimes walk to where the bike can't be ridden. These are not made for walking. I am also going on a bike tour of Vietnam where we will be stopping at historical sites and walking throughout the day. The chamois, made for long rides, is ample and I feel like I am walking with a rolled up t-shirt between my legs. Nit picky but for some in some conditions it may be useful knowledge. Don't get me wrong. The padding is so good I am going to try to make them work. Just recommend going big, probably 2 sizes if you are built wide like me. My legs are too short to go to the XXL and even the XLs are too long.

Comfortable but did not last
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
The fabric turned see-through after 8 months of use. The stitches holding the chamois are sparse and tearing holes in the fabric too.

Working Great for Me, Four Pair Now
- Familiarity:

I had Assos bibs years ago. I had to go back recently after recent brand of shorts changed the way they made their bibs; I could no longer wear their brand comfortably. I went through numerous well-known brands and came back home to Assos. Really great bibs; four pair now since Jan 22. I'm not small due to working out with weights.

Superbly comfortable

I've bought and tried a variety of cycling bibs from a diversity of manufacturers over the past few years finally arriving at the Assos GTS Mille GT C2. What sets the GTS apart from other great quality bibs is that it has the most comfortable chamois of all, period. Which makes it an indispensable piece of equipment for long rides. I'm 5'10" tall, 162lbs and the size Medium fits me perfectly.

I have been looking for a pair of bibs that I can say are comfortable for a long time and finally found them. The pad is thicker than anything else I have. I went for a ride yesterday to try them out and no discomfort on a long ride.
