It works...
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
So it works I can mount my old ski clamps. BUT: The bolts rotate in the plastic were they should hold still. Stuff does not hold in place when mounting them so it's fidgety. Unnecessarily tall. Thumb bolts so anyone can just unscrew you rack and steal it. (Replaces these with Nylon lock nets made of stainless steel) Over all I think there is a simpler design that would hold up better, but they do do what it says on the Tin.

Poor quality
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Really disappointed in the quality of these mounts. Four mounts come in each package. One of mine looks like it's been melted and reformed, making it unusable. So despite paying for four of these I only got three workable versions. Not worth the money if you can't even use the all of the pieces. Otherwise, the pieces I was able to use seemed ok. There are a lot of steps to figure out how to put them together for your rack and your bars but that's expected with a universal mount and the instructions were mostly clear.
