The We Are One Convergence Fuse I9 Hydra 29in Boost Wheelset is built to handle big hits from gravity and enduro-focused riding without the weight penalty we usually see from those sorts of wheels. The completely redesigned carbon layup utilized z-axis oriented ZRT film in critical areas for a 32% increase in impact resistance compared to the Unions. The alternating 7.5-degree spoke interfaces create a perfectly perpendicular angle with the spoke nipple to eliminate forces from point loading, which in turn increases overall durability and creates longer service intervals. Increased later stiffness helps us stay locked into our line through high-tech rocky sections, while a shallower rim depth increases compliance to dampen hand-numbing trail chatter. And last but certainly not least, these impressively strong rims are laced up to Industry Nine Hydra hubs for the instantaneous engagement we need to tackle increasingly gnarly terrain with complete confidence.
