Master Clincher Tire

Sure, we'd all prefer to ride tubular tires. But, who wants to change one by the side of the road and hope that it doesn't roll off? With Veloflex's Master Tires, you get the same construction used in its high end tubular tires in an easy to install clincher style.

The casing of the Master's is Compressed Pes/Cop corespun featuring 320TPI (threads per inch). This is the highest number of threads per inch in any tire. Essentially, this means that the casing fibers are made by twisting staple cotton fibers around a central filament core, creating one yarn from multiple fibers. As a result, the material is between 40 and 50% stronger than typically spun materials, while retaining a similar, if not lower, overall weight. The beading is Kevlar thread so that the tire seats securely on the wheel. This casing ensures low rolling resistance and a supple ride. To increase puncture resistance, an anti-puncture layer was added to the tire.

The Veloflex Master Clincher Tire is available in two sizes: 700c x 23mm and 700c x 25mm. It comes in the color Black.
