Why We Like The Ruckus Short
Whether you're traversing the mountains of New Zealand, or lapping the local bike park on a sunny weekend, the Troy Lee Designs Ruckus Shorts are decked out and ready for the adventure. Their trail-ready attitude comes across strong with the generous inseam that stops below the knees with room for pads to keep you covered when you book it a little too quickly into a chunky rock garden, and four-way stretch that lets you throw your bike sideways off of a booter, or crush climbs without restriction. When the mercury starts to rise, unzip the inner thigh vents for active cooling when you're pushing it down the trail.

Way too small

I have three pairs of Ruckus shorts and they fit all the same. The ones I just got are way too small. They are labeled a 32 like my others but more like a 30 waits or less. That is poor QC.

Way too Small

Bought this for my husband and it was way too small and they don't have the next size up. Very weird since everyone is saying it's true to size-maybe it's a blemo!

If tld made pocket knives
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is the swiss army knife, light enough for a 120mm bike down country pedal, enough pockets if you needed to do a long ride in the high country, I mean, they do it all. Ventilation, storage, durable light fabric. These are a bit longer than my other shorts, but not bad at all. Really awesome shorts to have in the arsenal.

Best fit of so many brands!

A little pricey but by far the best fit and amazing functionality! I don't ride a dropper seat and never caught my crotch with these. I can ride these days long. They are by far my new favorites. Customer service at the company is amazing as well. Strong Recommend. Stop looking, these are the ones!

Nice shorts, liner durability is lacking
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Shorts are fine, liners could be more durable. The stitching on the chamois came loose after fewer than 5 rides. Within a few more rides the waistband stitching failed, allowing the body of the liners to tear free of the waistband.

Works great!
- Familiarity:

Comfortable liner, nice waist adjustments, mesh pockets are nice too. Used for one week now, riding in them 10-12miles a day and washing them every day. They seem to be holding up fine. I haven?t ?bailed? in them yet so I can?t say for durable in that sense but otherwise great so far. The fit was right on too. I definitely quality as a larger rider 6?2? and about a 240 pounder. The 38 was a perfect fit. Would recommend for sure!

TLD Get Your Act Together
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

I bought my first pair of ruckus shorts and chamois back in 2017 and that original pair has less problems than the two pairs I bought 6 months ago. I ride every day so the shorts and chamois get a lot of use but my old pair never had any issues. The two newest pairs I bought have completely fallen apart. The stitching has come undone all over the shorts, and the chamois stitching has come undone halfway. The quality of TLD products has gone from a 10/10 to 2/10. Super disappointing...hope they fix their issues but in the meantime steer clear. Absolute trash quality so unless they drop the price to $40 for the shorts and chamois, steer clear. So sad and disappointing.

Solid shorts; tough and don't bind you. Its too hot here for the chamois but I have a tough undercarriage. Perfectly comfy without.

Ruckus Short

Feels heavy and hard to keep in place, unlike the Skyline Air, that feels light and custom fitted. The feel of the fabric is not the same as the Skyline's either.
