Welcome to fast.

Time's Iclic Pedals are far easier to click into than their older RSX pedal system. The new Iclic mechanism is "cocked" open when your foot is out of the pedal. This minimizes the entry tension to nearly zero, so you can get engaged quickly and with minimal effort. When you step down into the Iclic Pedals, the back of the cleat pushes down on the red trigger latch, releasing the retention bar to clamp the cleat in place. At this point you are fully clipped in and ready to ride.

Another key element of the Iclic pedals is the Fiberflex retention spring. It functions exactly like the Carboflex carbon fiber spring in the more expensive Iclic models, but these are made from fiberglass. Using the less expensive spring material yields two results -- a miniscule weight increase but a significant cost reduction. In the Iclic system, the spring is housed in the center of the pedal body instead of being located on the outboard side of the pedal like the Look Keo Blade pedals.

In keeping with Time's signature characteristics, the Iclic Pedals have both lateral float (2.5mm) and sprung angular float (+5 degrees). The shape of the cleat and the spring tension on the retention bar control the angular float. It self-centers, giving you a secure feeling compared to pedals with truly free floating cleats. There is a three-position adjuster for the spring tension so you can dial them in to suit your preferences.

The Time Iclic Pedals are Black. They have a composite body with sealed bearings and a steel spindle. The included three-hole Cafe Cleats are asymmetrical to allow a 2.5mm Q-Factor adjustment depending on which foot gets which cleat. They have non-slip material at the wear points to protect the structural portions and give you better traction on slippery surfaces.

Please Note: Iclic cleats are not compatible with older Time pedals or vice-versa.
