The SwissStop EXOTherm2 goes above and beyond the competition, crafted from a special compound that's engineered to last longer while providing smooth, powerful, and consistent braking performance. In addition to the EXOTherm2 compound, these pads employ cooling fins on the backplate for better heat management under heavy braking, ensuring your brakes don't fade on long, challenging descents.

Solid long-term performance
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Slightly better overall braking performance than Shimano sintered pads, and about the same modulation. Now that I have about 250,000 vertical feet of experience with them, I can say with certainty that they last a lot longer than Shimano too.
