Peter Sagan Green Machine Signature Jersey - Men's

Peter Sagan, a character on and off the bike, poises himself each year to win the green jersey at the Tour. Cannondale, the team's primary sponsor, painted a custom bike with a wolverine theme for Sagan, and this alter ego extends to the custom jersey that he designed in conjunction with Sugoi. The Green Machine Signature Jersey was created using Sugoi's Live Art Direct system, the same system all Sugoi customers are privy to, allowing fast revisions and a design that speaks to Sagan's character.

The Sagan-designed jersey is not a novelty jersey sewn from an unbreathable, heavy knit. It was constructed from Gobi3. This fabric was specifically designed for hot summer riding with lightweight, microfiber yarns. The structure of Gobi3 features a small diamond pattern that helps to wick moisture to the surface for fast evaporation. Additionally, the pattern is mesh-like for breathability to keep you cool. Vector mesh panels were inserted at the sides and in the underarm gussets to further encourage cooling. And, if it's still too hot on that long climb, the jersey's full-length zipper aids in cooling.

Sagan designed the fully-sublimated graphics to express his race alter ego and national pride. Beneath the cool and calm exterior lies a powerful "green machine" waiting to be released at just the right moment. The claw marks are inspired by his 2014 Tour "animal alter ago," the wolverine. Almost super-heroic, it draws inspiration from childhood favorites. His Slovakian heritage is prominently displayed on the front and back of the jersey.

The Green Machine jersey was constructed with Ergo Sleeves to ensure flexibility while bent into the drops. The inset shoulders reduce fabric bunching and flatlock seams mean increased comfort and reduced hotspots and chafing. Three back pockets hold all of your riding gear — they are even slanted to the side for easy access.
