Arch MK3 29in Boost Wheel

With Boost axle widths delivering an extra kick of power transfer and tracking consistency, the Stan’s NoTubes Arch MK3 29in Boost Wheelset gains inspiration from Stan’s XC speed demon Crest’s rim profile and gravity-focused Flow’s burly internal arch design. Thanks to the revamped rim profile, this versatile wheelset shows up ready to ride in a stronger, wider, and lighter package than its revered predecessors. The MK3's internal rim width juts out from the EX's 21mm to a hefty 26mm platform designed to pair with 2.25 inch to 2.5 inch tire widths.

As with every Stan's wheelset, the Arch MK3 uses Stan's Bead Socket Technology (BST) with remarkably low profile sidewalls that lets the tire bead to seat more effectively, which brings a heap of benefits compared to standard rims with higher sidewalls. BST results in an exceptional tubeless seal while also allowing the tire to hold greater air volume than standard rims that place the bead 2-4mm below the edge. This interface allows the tire to maintain its full shape for a wider, more stable rolling platform compared to the same tire mounted on a standard rim.

The Arch MK3's ability to run up to 30% lower air pressure in the tubeless system than a standard tube setup paired with all those BST features results in exceptional tire stability, better handling, confident cornering, and overall improved control out in the dirt. And if you're not quite ready to make the tubeless leap, these rims are also compatible with standard tubes, with the lower sidewalls drastically reducing pinch flat risk by limiting the amount of material present for the tube to pinch against. This means less time off the trail in the dust wrestling with flats and more time getting after it on your favorite loops.

Stan's Neo hub set sits at the center of the Arch MK3 with oversized, smooth-spinning bearings that glide on a stiff, strong, swaged axle. The Neo cradles the bearings at a wider stance for a claimed threefold increase in strength compared to standard hub designs and utilizes four precision pawls that simultaneously engage a forged steel 36-tooth ratchet ring for snappy, ten-degree engagement. Stan's built in its SealLock end caps for easy installation and Slip-Fit axle ends for quick conversion.
