Too many flats
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I’ve been riding on these tires for 3 years now and although the ride is great, I have had flat issues. I ride 100-125 miles per week and I can count on getting a flat (and sometimes two flats per ride) regularly. I am switching tires and considering making the investment for new wheels and going tubeless.

Great Tire - No Problem

1500 miles and still going. 1 flat. And I live in the NYC area, where the road are mostly terrible. Oh yeah. Fantastic ride. Blows Conti's away.

Durability a serious concern.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Loved the look & feel of these tires so got 2 sets. Unfortunately the first set had flats 50% of the time after my first ride. IMPORTANT!- On the second set I noticed a small bubble on the sidewall of my rear tire close to the rim after 1-2 rides, maybe 50-80 miles total. Decided the tire was so new it had to be ok so headed out. Lucky for me I was only going ~20mph when there was an alarming BANG and the tire blew out, riding on the rim in 0.5 seconds. I can’t imagine the results if this happened on one of our descents at 40- 50mph or in the middle of a corner. It’s on me for riding on a tire with a bubble in the sidewall- that was stupid. BUT, I’ve bought a lot of performance tires over the years and have never had a set fail me as early and often as these.

Nice ride, terrible flats

The feel of these is fantastic! If it weren’t for the amount of flats I’ve gotten I would give them 5 stars. The probability of getting a flat on any ride over 50 miles with these is 1 for me. Eventually I just decided to switch out the tires when the side wall got punctured pretty badly.

Fast and comfortable
It is the best tyres I ever rode, run 24mm with my Enve 4.5 and Latex tube, it is just as comfortable as tubular tyres. They are simply fast, super fast. I usually don't run them in the winter or bad weather. I ride them for nice summer and in the race.

Beware of Flats
- Familiarity:

I agree with the others. - these are great tires other than the constant flats. Flats seem to be especially prevalent in the fall when the roads accumulate debris from trees. Before switching to these tires I rarely got flats but now, I flat every other ride or so. I'll be switching to something else.
