S-Works Epic 8 Frameset

Lighter, more capable, and still race bike efficient, the Specialized Epic 8 is back to reinstate its title as the fastest bike on the XC course. With slacker geometry than the previous iteration of the Epic Evo, the new Epic 8 has been revised to be more capable while maintaining its lightweight construction and ultra-efficient platform. Updated suspension kinematics and a Ride Dynamics tuned shock pair together to bring us epic performance on the trail and more composure and confidence on the gnarliest XC courses. The Epic 8 is equipped with a 66.4-degree head tube angle in the high setting for better frame geometry when the trails get steeper, and the short and snappy chainstays and a relatively short wheelbase ensure the Epic 8 remains the pocket rocket we know and love. The S-Works Epic 8 Frameset features a RockShox SIDLuxe Ultimate 3-position rear shock with a SRAM TwistLoc handlebar-mounted remote for race-ready performance, and the SID Ultimate, 120mm fork also has a handlebar-mounted remote with a 3-position compression switch for on-the-go damper adjustments. The beloved SWAT internal frame storage made its way onto the Epic frames this year, equipping us with internal frame storage so we can stash our tools and snacks inside the frame. The S-Works Epic 8 Frameset is finished with integrated frame protection to keep our paint job fresh, and enclosed internal cable routing makes for a clean-looking, silent ride.
