Rain or shine, Specialized's Flux 1250 Headlight lights our way when we're making an early start or extending our ride past sunset. The Flux 1250 features increased lumens and runtime, plus an optimal beam pattern that enhances visibility. It features modes for every situation from urban riding to bikepacking, where we need to conserve battery for multi-day rides. We like that this headlight can withstand everything a bike ride could throw at us, and IPX7 waterproofing means it will survive any unlikely drops into rivers or puddles.

Defective
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I purchased two of these and they both had the same issue. After unboxing I fully charged the light with the correct rated charger based on the instructions. Upon turning the light on it will output a very bright light but dims after about 10-15sec. After that, the light will still cycle through the 3 modes of varying brightness but will never output as bright as it did upon first turning on the unit. I've emailed Specialized multiple times without a response regarding this behavior. There appear to be similar reviews on the Specialized site so I think I'll wait until they release another version of this light.

Overall, great light!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
VERY robust in design and super bright! Love the three brightness options and all the accessories that come with it. Only negative comment is the mounting clip...once the light is clipped in to the mount, the seems to rattle ever so slightly. May not bug the normal person but it bothered me. I put in a little adhesive foam strip to mitigate the rattling and it did the trick. Overall, great design and highly recommend.

The product is described for use in urban cycling, but will it withstand trail and enduro? Thanks, Mike
