Deflect UV Cycling Cap
When we're spending long hours in the saddle, it can be nice to enjoy a little extra comfort and sun protection. This barely-there cap is designed to fit easily beneath our helmet without compromising the fit, where it then acts as a breathable layer that wicks sweat away from our head. As an added bonus, Deflect UV 50+ protection defends our face (thanks, brim!) and head—because sometimes those ventilation point on our helmet act as a window for the sun.

Runs a bit small
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- M
- Height:
- 5' 5"
- Weight:
- 120
The material is nice and light and cut well, but it runs a bit small I would say. As the other reviewer said if you are at the top end of a M…..probably want to pass. I also have a 23in/58cm head and this thing is on the borderline of uncomfortably tight and I'm a skinny someone who normally wears Castelli!

M is too small for me
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
According to the size chart (which is for helmets and might or might not apply to hats), I am at the top end of M. For the different helmets, M goes up to 23, 23.25, or 23.5" head circumference. My head is 23". This hat does fit onto my head, but it is tighter than I'd like. An L would be better. I may have to cut the elastic in a few places to lessen the pressure.
