It's true that being clipped in to your pedals affords you the most efficient power transfer. However, when you're shredding trails, efficiency isn't the only game you're playing. Sure XC races rely on pure speed, but 4X and DH require a unique combination of speed and finesse that trump a traditional carbon-soled mountain bike shoe. The Six Six One Filter Shoe combines the flexibility of a platform shoe with a clip-in style shoe so you'll be ready for anything the mountain throws at you. 

The Filter shoes feature a skate-styled rubber sole with a grip pattern. It's a simple design that allows full functionality for 4X and DH races where all the bells and whistles of a carbon-soled race shoe won't make a difference in your ride.You're able to grip the pedals when needed and easily place a foot down for balance in a tight corner. Speaking of being clipped in, there is an SPD option placed within the nylon shank so that you have the security of a cleat when you need it. 

A durable, synthetic upper, with mesh inserts and perforations helps your feet to breath so that they're not drenched in sweat. Laces and a hook and loop strap secure the Filters to your feet and a partial lace cover and lace keeper ensure that your laces stay tied for the duration of your ride.

The Six Six One Filter Shoes are available in half sizes from 8.0 to 9.5 and whole sizes from 10.0 to 13.0. They come in two colorways: Gray/red and Black/cyan.
