Short shelf life
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Used as an adjunct to immersive waxing. Seemed to lubricate & quite chain well. HOWEVER, after storage a partial bottle and a full unopened bottle SOLIDIFIED, therefore becoming unusable. I will add the solid contents to my wax pot. Beware!!

Makes the chain quiet
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Add this to your chain after you perform an immersive wax in your crock pot and it will make your chain silent. Shake vigorously, apply to each link, spin a few times, let it sit overnight, and enjoy super quiet and smooth operation for miles.

Rode it during Leadville 100. Can’t find dryer or dustier. It works well!

Not for mountain biking dry dusty trails
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I really hoped Super Secret Chain Lube would hold up to the hype and positive reviews. I followed the directions from Super Secret for all steps of new chain prep and lubing. Bottom line I couldn't even get through a 20 mile ride without bike drive train problems. I tried re-application several times and always with the same results. So if you ride dry dusty trails this lube is not for you. Maybe it works great on the road but not for mountain bikes. Ibis Ripley, XT components, Southern CA summer trail conditions.

Super

I followed the instructions on the video and thoroughly cleaned the chain. It was as clean as I could make it. Then I dipped the chain and hung it out to dry. Never had a more quieter chain before. All I do is add a drop to the links if I ride while wet. There is no complaint at all. Great product. Just follow the instructional video.
