SH56 SPD Cleat Set

Clip in and get going with the Shimano SH56 SPD Cleat Set. Designed to pair with Shimano SPD pedals, these cleats are multi-release so you can clip out by twisting your foot to either the inside or outside of the pedal. With the option to lift and twist your heel to unclip, these cleats are a great choice for anyone just getting into the clipless pedal game and anyone just looking for quick, easy clip out functionality. Keep in mind that these cleats are not compatible with SPD-style pedals that are not Shimano branded.

Easy Release

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These cleats would be perfect for first time clipless riders, also great for people like me who have had a few falls and gave clip in pedals because of fear of getting hurt. I installed the new cleats on my shoes and started riding with my Simano XT pedals again, after a few practice rides my conference returned, they are so easy to un clip it makes you think they might release when you don?t want them to but that?s not the case. I now have about 10 rides on the new cleats and not one prerelease and more importantly not one fall, even if to totally panic and try to get your foot down without a twisting motion, they will release, I?m done with flats for good!
