Why We Like The Shimano RC702 Cycling Shoe
Positioned just below Shimano's top-level S-Phyre RC9, the RC702 Cycling Shoe is a competition-worthy road shoe with an impressively low weight. Combining a carbon sole with a comfortable upper, this pair strikes a balance between race-day aggression and training utility. The micro-adjustable dials and wide anchor points evenly distribute pressure and let us fine tune the fit on the fly, while the rigid sole—10/12 stiffness rating—delivers efficient power transfer, so no energy is wasted.

Too tight for my foot-great quality tho
- Familiarity:

I’ve had a few pairs of shimano road shoes. This one was too tight when others were ok. I found the wide shoes were too wide. In this shoe size regular, the toe box is too small. It just didn’t work this time

Great shoe at a moderate price
I am very pleased with the shoes, especially at this price point. I like them better than my previous shoes, which were S-Phyres from one or two models prior. Like the S-Phyres, they now have 2 BOAs, and the carbon insert is longer. The fit is fantastic when sized properly, with no excess material. My previous shoes were a 1/2 size too small (46.5 on the European sizing scale, like what I wore in SIDI). The shape was great just no room for my foot to expand. Stepping it up the 1/2 size to 47.0 on these did the trick and I wish I had done it sooner.

Love the shoes
The shoes felt amazing and easy to move in unlike others I have tried on. I would highly recommend these to my friend. As the description said, go 1 size up for better comfort.

Super Comfortable

These shoes are pretty sturdy, comfortable, and light. I had a fall and the material held up good and kept my feet protected. Left shoe now has a little hole but 0 injuries to foot.

Shoe width too narrow

I was looking for a wide shoe and these did not come close. It's hard to buy bike shoes online and the stores have such limited options. I'll keep trying
