Why We Like The 2nd Gen E-Tube Di2 Wire

With the release of Shimano's updated Dura-Ace and Ultegra 12-speed Di2 drivetrains comes a new e-tube wire that's based on technology developed for Shimano's industry-leading e-bike systems. The SD300 wire is more compact and lightweight than previous e-tube wires, and it comes in a wide variety of lengths so you can connect your derailleurs to the Di2 battery regardless of frame size or shape.

Must have for Di2 12 speed

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

To upgrade the two shifting levers to a certain version of firmware, the hard wire is required to connect the lever to battery. This simply works, but the Shimano design is really stupid.

Works great for Di2 12 speed

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Got this wire to update the wireless shifters since it’s not wireless updatable yet. 1000mm is long enough to connected it to the front derailleur using the EW-JC302 Di2 part. My shifters are still wireless I just connect them just to do the shifter update.
