Di2 TT Remote Switch SW-9071

With the introduction of Shimano's latest Di2 groups, you have the option of running a myriad of supplemental electronic shifters on your bars. For time trial and triathlon setups, riders now have the advantage of adding Shimano's Di2 TT Remote Switch SW-9071 shifters out front for an extended aero bar shifting position.

The shifters themselves were engineered with one button for each shifter, which control the rear derailleur only. They were designed to work as satellite shifters for your aero bar extensions, in conjunction with dual control levers mounted to your base bars. This gives you rear shifting control regardless of your hand position up front, meaning you can remain in your optimal riding position without removing your hands from the extensions just to make a shift.

Shimano designed the new Di2 TT Remote Switch SW-9071 shifters to work seamlessly with its new Di2 groups, which means they will need to run directly into its E-Tube Cockpit Junction Box. The small junction box mounts directly below the handlebar, and makes it so that no additional wiring or setup procedure is required to add your supplemental shifters. The Junction Box is available in two versions: the SM-EW90-A, with three ports, and SM-EW90-F, with five ports.

The Shimano Di2 TT Remote Switch SW-9071 shifters include built-in E-Tube wires that route directly into the Cockpit Junction Box.
