True 1500+ Headlight

Riding the trails at night should be thrilling. But, those sentiments are best found in the undulations of the trails and the nighttime scenery rather than from the nearly missed tree. And, unless you're riding by a harvest moon, that means equipping your bike with a durable and very bright light. With the introduction of the True 1500+ Headlamp, Serfas turned heads, and the 1500 lumens of your light are sure to pack the same wallop on the trails.

The True 1500+ features three CREE LEDs for a total output of 1500 lumens in Overdrive mode. Given this much light, there is sure to be heat buildup, which causes wear and tear on the light. Serfas engineered for this, cooling the light via a forced RAM air system. The Lithium Ion fuel cell delivers up to three hours of light at 1500 lumens. That's three hours of saddle time in the dead of the night. And, if you want to ride right into the dawn hours, purchase an additional fuel cell and change it on the fly for countless hours in the dirt. If you don't quite need the brightest of lights for your ride then the True 1500+ has additional modes: 4 hours at 1000 lumens, 7 hours at 700 lumens, 12 hours at 350 lumens and a flashing mode which gives you 7 hours of visibilty. The fuel cell takes 4.5 hours to charge via the wall charger. In case you're worried about overcharging, Serfas included a built-in smart charger which eliminates the possibility.

If your passion is mountain biking, you're probably a bit environmentally conscious. All of Serfas' lights are RoHS compliant. This is a directive, not yet mandated in the US, that restricts the use of six hazardous materials during the manufacture of electronics, and Serfas has been complying for over five years now.

The Serfas True 1500+ comes with a handlebar mount, helmet mount, and extra long extension cable. The latter makes mounting the battery to your frame, seatpost, or even your hydration pack a breeze. It also has a wall charger and a pouch that keeps your light scratch free when not in use.
