The Flow S gets its name from the cutout running down the middle of the saddle, which lets in cooling air flow and reduces pressure on the perineal artery and surrounding sensitive tissue. This cutout shifts the weighted contact points to your sit bones, which are far more able to support weight comfortably with less numbness and pain.

Compared to its road racing-specific siblings, the Novus Flow S features just a smidgeon of extra padding to cushion the ride across multiple disciplines. Its extraordinary versatility allows it to shuttle between technical trails, pristine pavement, and the mud and remounts required to tackle cyclocross — all while keeping things cool and comfy throughout the ride.

The Selle Italia Novus Flow S Saddle features a long, narrow profile that tops out at 137mm wide in order to provide a wide range of positioning options for riders with narrower hips. Riders with wider sit bones may prefer the Novus Flow L with its wider, 146mm stance.
