One minor issue.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 45
- Weight:
- 160
I have worn these on ~20 rides or so now. The sole works well with heavily pinned flat pedals, and I have not had any issues with the BOA closure. My one complaint is that the low top style combined with the closure system creates a pinch and rub point near the front of my ankle. It's minor, but not something I have been able to combat with thicker socks, etc.

Great Flat Pedal Shoe
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

I bought these for winter riding thanks to the BOA dial, as i hate tying laces when its 15 degrees outside. I got them a size too large to account for thick winter socks. I've ridden about 150 miles of trails with these and love them so far. They hold to the pedal really well, only slipped off once on a rugged downhill. These shoes also have the best traction when the need comes to hike a little. Much better traction than any flat pedal shoe i have ever used. Only negative i have is with the placement of the top wire of the BOA system. Its right at the very top of the tongue, unlike where a normal lace is a little bit lower. When tightened properly, it makes it painful to flex my ankle when pedaling and trying to get the calf to do some work. Its gotten better with time, but i still keep the shoes looser than where i really like. Overall i love these shoes and they are great for what i wanted, even though the BOA isnt perfect in my mind.
