When we can't decide whether to bring out the cross-country or trail bike, the Santa Cruz Blur Trail is there to save the day. Like a cross-country race bike but upgraded with 15 millimeters more travel in the rear, the Blur Trail combines cross-country bike agility, weight, and speed with a trail bike's capability and stability. With a 67.1-degree headtube angle, we are in a much better position to point the wheels downhill and over chunky terrain than the competition, and size-specific chainstays and seat tube angles position every rider perfectly for efficient climbing and pedaling. The Blur Trail utilizes Santa Cruz's Superlight suspension platform, reducing overall weight and making for a more energy-efficient design than their previous VPP suspension platform. Complemented by the energy-efficient Superlight platform, a Fox Factory Float rear shock gives us world class small bump sensitivity and exceptional ride tuneability, so we can set up our shock to our riding style. Finally, integrated downtube and chainstay protectors keep our bike safe from chain slaps and rock strikes, while features like an SRAM UDH-compatible frame and three water bottle mounts are just icing on the cake.
