Lyrik Select 29in Boost Fork - 2022

The Lyrik is the burliest single crown fork in the RockShox lineup, designed specifically for long travel all-mountain and enduro bikes with its plush travel and stout chassis. This particular model, the Lyrik Select 29in Boost Fork, combines the DebonAir Spring for sensitive, coil-like feel throughout the travel, along with the trusted Charger RC damper with low-speed compression and rebound adjust that lets you tune the ride just how you like it. From high speed descents full of chattery brake bumps to sessioning the big lines at your local bike park, the Lyrik has your back on any trail.

If you're familiar with RockShox's lineup in years past, you'll probably notice that they've shifted from a series of letters designating where each fork is situated, to the new designations of "Select" and "Ultimate." The Select lands just behind the Ultimate, using the tried-and-trusted Charger RC damper, which packs in low-speed compression adjust for fine-tuning your fork to your preferred feel. While it maintains the same damper as we've seen in previous Lyrik models, new Maxima Plush damping fluid is added to the scene. The new fluid is fine tuned to reduce friction, and silence damper noise for a sleek feel that stays smooth as you push through the travel. Complimenting the new fluid, a new, more durable grease is employed in the air chamber, offering the same slickness of grease used in previous generations, but durability that blows it out of the water.

The Lyrik Select delivers precise tracking with its stout 35-millimeter stanchions preventing torsional deflection when you're smashing across boulders and roots at high speeds. Beefed up over its Pike sibling with thicker stanchion walls, the Lyrik is RockShox's premiere fork for aggressive styles of all-mountain riding and enduro racing. This pairs up with the DebonAir spring that's borrowed from RockShox Deluxe and Super Deluxe rear shocks to increase negative air spring volume in the fork, lending higher levels of suppleness off-the-top. This translates to a ride that's more sensitive to small bumps and imperfections in the trail. The DebonAir spring also increases its mid-stroke support to prevent you from blowing through the excess travel.
