Race Face’s Era Crankset represents a new benchmark in carbon crank construction, developed for riders who want the weight savings of carbon without compromising durability. Leveraging a reengineered layup and direct-bonded pedal inserts, the Era delivers class-leading stiffness and resistance to pedal and crankarm failure—making it one of the few carbon cranks we’d recommend for enduro and gravity riders alike.

The addition of a stainless steel wear plate sets the Era apart in terms of protection. This integrated guard shields the crank from shoe rub, pedal slap, and trail abuse, keeping the crank looking fresh and riding clean over the long haul. Built around Race Face’s CINCH system, the Era is fully modular, enabling direct mount chainring swaps to suit changing drivetrain needs or terrain. It runs on a 30mm spindle and supports both standard and wide chainline configurations (52mm or 55mm depending on ring spec).
