Atlas Stem

When the iconic pewter Race Face stems first arrived on the market, they were instrumental in opening up possibilities for mountain biking. Without the leap in strength of those early stems, mountain biking wouldn't have evolved into the capable machines they are. The Race Face Atlas Stem keeps that original's accomplishments alive by providing DH strength in an aluminum package that's light enough for XC.

This make the Atlas perfect for the modern all-mountain bikes and downhill-race builds alike. It's constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum and uses a four-bolt bar clamp that holds the bar securely in position without creating stress risers. To accomplish this, Race Face uses an interlocking U-shaped faceplate.

Likewise, opposing steerer tube bolts provide extreme clamping power, without damaging the steerer tube. The Atlas has laser-etched logos, including angle gradients that correspond with Race Face handlebars (to assist with centering), as well as bar rotation for precise fit adjustments. The Race Face Atlas Stem comes in two lengths — 50 or 65mm, with zero rise. It's compatible with 1.125in steerer tubes and 31.8mm handlebars.
