Fantastic for the gravel grinder
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
The bar that came on my new grave bike was way to narrow for comfort on the nasty stuff. It felt good on the road but when things got bumpy you just felt squirrely. So i put in some time researching and came up with the PNW Coast. i love it. makes road riding more comfortable but where it really shines is when things get nasty. Much more confident feeling while on the nasty stuff. Also give more relaxed positions on the drops as they are not as deep as my other bars to i was more comfortable cutting under the wind for a longer period of time.

PNW Components Coast handlebar
- Size Bought:
- 48cm
- Height:
- 6' 3"
- Weight:
- 230
Competitive Cyclist shipped my PNW Components Coast handlebar quickly without fuss. The fit and finish of the bars is very good. I haven't ridden with them yet because the bike build is still a work in progress. I'm building an all-road tour/commute ride with a more relaxed, upright stance. I chose the 48cm bars with that application in mind. Straddling the frame, this feels like a good decision for me. I will write a proper review of the Coast bar after I've put on some miles.
