Trail running without water is like eating a giant pickle and then proceeding to drink a glass of whole milk; not only is it a bad idea but you just don't do it. And thanks to the Osprey Rev 6 Hydration Pack you can forget about getting yourself into a pickle mid-run—err, we mean running without water. Designed to sit higher on your back, the Rev forgoes the traditional hip belt construction since it gleans support from the unique shoulder straps and stabilization wings. The mesh-covered back panel and shoulder straps keep air flowing while they stay securely in place—making the pack feel like a natural extension of your back.

Fashioned with a zippered front pocket the Rev 6 is equipped to hold larger items like a rain shell, trail maps, or bike supplies. The lightweight 1.5-liter reservoir that's included with the pack is specially designed to prevent water from sloshing around while you're trucking up and over hills while zippered expansion water bottle sleeve is designed to hold additional water or a non-water drink of choice. The backpack itself is designed to fit snugly and follow your movements which in turn prevents irritating jiggling and uncomfortable chafing. Not just one, but two sternum straps keep the pack securely in place, and can be adjusted (or removed) to your preferred position. One includes a magnet that conveniently holds the drinking tube's bite valve so you can quickly sip and then get the drinking tube out of the way. Two pockets, one on each shoulder strap, hold energy gels and chewy-bites. The unique drop-down DigiFlip media pocket keeps your smart phone close at hand.
