Why We Like The Aluminum Pedal
Born ready to grip it and rip it, the OneUP Components Aluminum Pedal offers a grippy, smooth-rolling, and durable platform for big days out on the bike. It's designed from stealth rubber down and shaped with a subtle convex profile to provide you with more grip thanks to the pedal sitting in the natural arch of your foot. This shape also creates a razor-thin leading edge and optimal clearance to help deflect off obstacles on the trail. Each pedal has four double-sealed full-cartridge bearings, and no bushings, to toughen up its durability and eliminate any axle play. And let the 40 rear-loading custom hexagonal removable pins alleviate your concerns of slippage by ensuring maximum grip. OneUp also gave it a unique cassette tool lock ring to make bearing servicing fast and easy.
OneUp pedals have been updated to be compatible with SRAM carbon cranks and cranks boots if the date code is after 5221.

rubber seal causes lots of friction
rubber seal negates any friction benefits of the bearings, pedal is always stiff and doesnt rotate freely even after hundreds of miles.

Great Pedals
Installed these on my Why Cycles R+ last year. One pedal squeaked until I put a drop of dry chain lube on the washer. Everything has been great since. I like how big the platform is and how well my Pearl Izumi shoes stick to them. These are great pedals.

Squeeky as %$@&
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Nice looking. Great grip. Won't stop squeeking. Pulled off the o ring, checked the flange washer direction, tried with and without pedal washer.... still squeek!!!! Brutal. 2 stars cuz they still work, and look great.

Great pedal would be 5*
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Great product easy install. Super wide platform that makes you feel like standing on the ground. The only thing keeping it away from 5* is that one pedal squeaks. Tried reinstalling using silicone on the face that seats against crank. Thinking maybe graphite? I feel for the price I shouldn?t need to worry about this. Don?t hear when I?m going hard but when I slow down it drives me nuts. If anyone at Backcountry or anyone else has a solution I?m all ears..

These peddles don't fit shuttle racks
The mounting point of the peddle is flared out just past the threads and that flare doesn't allow the peddle to fit large mountain bike shuttle racks.

Best pedals on the market in my opinion. Run them on my enduro and e-mtb currently.

Great pedal with lots of grip. It has a large surface area for added comfort when shredding the gnarl!

Complete Garbage

Stripped two sets of SRAM xo1 cranks in less than 3 months. The new version of this pedal is terrible. My old ones are great but will never buy these pedals again.
