Enemy Shin Guard

If you've looked into a flapper and witnessed a tibia firsthand, then you've seen a slipped pedal turn a solid day of riding into a day of sutures. The current trend of knee-guard-only gravity riding is keeping this experience alive, but for those who see that as mountain biking's equivalent of sagging pants, One Industries has your skin covered with its Enemy Shin Guard.

Aggressive pedals and sticky rubber shoes have reduced the chance of shin-to-pedal attacks, but those nasty pins can -- and still do -- bad things to an unprotected leg. Using its background in motosports, One Industries designed the Enemy to be light, layerable, and unobtrusive to pedaling.

It features effective impact protection with the use of integrated EVA foam, and a polypropylene shin insert. For freedom of movement and to keep the Enemy positioned, a pre-curved neoprene chassis easily stretches and changes with muscle contractions and leg movement due to pedaling. Three wide elastic hook-and-loop straps also work to provide a snug fit without cutting off circulation.

Abrasion-resistant ballistic nylon ensures the Enemy Shin Guard will make it through multiple confrontations, and perforations to the neoprene will keep cool air flowing and prevent overheating. The One Industries Shin Guard comes Black only, and sizes Small through X-Large.
