Whether we're taking on our first enduro race or our 50th, the Norco Range is built for precision tracking on the roughest trails and efficient climbing because not every race and ride can be lift-serviced. The carbon fiber frame construction strikes the perfect balance between stiffness and compliance, giving us the freedom to lay down some serious speed across the entire mountain without feeling wrecked the next morning. The High Virtual Pivot suspension design is a godsend for quick work of gnarly terrain thanks to the rearward axle path, allowing us to easily clean square edged hits. Combined with a slack 63.5-degree headtube angle on a size large and 170mm of travel, front and rear, the Range is begging us to send it down the most technical trails we can find. And while millimeters and fractions of a degree might get overlooked on paper, Norco's engineers took into account that these small changes matter, especially for smaller riders. The geometry not only features size specific chainstay lengths and seat tube angles, but the headtube angles steepen by a quarter degree as sizes get smaller so even shorter riders can get into an effective position over the front wheel.
This specific Norco Range C3 build kit prioritizes components that are built to see nearly constant abuse on the trail. The SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain takes care of the shifting duties and offers a wide gear range for getting up even the steepest fireroads, while a pair of Code R 4-piston brakes offer ample stopping power for navigating technical sections of trail safely. A RockShox ZEB out front is paired with a Fox DHX2 Factory coil shock in the rear to help us ride out big hits and create a bottomless feel as we bob and weave down the mountain. Norco rounds out this build with 29-inch wheels, grippy Maxxis rubber, and a long dropper post so that it's ready to ride right out of the box. When we're ready to take our big mountain riding and enduro racing to the next level, we throw a leg over the Norco Range C3 SRAM Mountain Bike and get riding.
