Optic Carbon Mountain Bike Frame

The Norco Optic gives us a new viewpoint on what a short-travel trail bike can do. Designed with a premium carbon frame, aggressive geometry, a custom-tuned fork and shock, and downhill spec'd components, the Optic is ready to shred the descents while still making short work of the climbs. Progressive trail geometry puts us in the perfect position to feel stable and confident on nearly any terrain. A 65-degree head tube angle keeps our front wheel out in front of us on the descents, and a 76-degree seat tube angle puts us in a perfectly centered position on climbs. Every size of the Optic can be tailored to us using Norco's Ride Aligned system, which customizes our components and shock tunes to our body size and riding style. The Optic uses a Horst Link suspension system to optimize anti-squat and anti-rise characteristics through different stages of travel, putting emphasis on descending capability while not losing sight of an efficient climbing bike.

The Norco Optic Carbon frame features a carbon fiber front triangle and an aluminum rear triangle, maximizing the strength-to-weight ratio where it is needed most. Norco equipped the Optic with a RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate DH Custom RC shock, boosting the Optics downhill capabilities more than the 125mm of travel may suggest. Features like an integrated downtube protector, chainstay protector, an ISCG-05 mount, sleek internal cable routing, and a boost thru-axle are just icing on the cake to this already stellar trail machine.
