Boost RDO Carbon Rigid Fork

Your friends might think you're a little bit loony, but you've got a soft spot for a fully-rigid ride, that's why you've got your eye out for the Niner Boost RDO Carbon Rigid Fork. Pairing perfectly with the Air 9, or just about any other boosted hardtail with a tapered steer tube, this fork is ideal for converting your ride to a snappy and fast rigid steed. Its crafted from Niner's RDO carbon to deliver a light and stiff feel to let you rally through tight switchbacks while maintaining total control. Boost spacing brings things fork into the future, elevating stiffness further with a wide thru-axle, and offering extra tire clearance for plush tires that soak up trail debris.

Big wheels, high speeds, and strong disc brakes can combine to tweak flimsy forks out of alignment, which makes it really hard to hold your line while you're riding steep, high-speed trails. While suspension forks have been rocking burly thru-axles to fight off flex for years, rigid forks are only just catching up. Niner endowed the RDO Carbon with a rugged 15mm RockShox Maxle thru-axle to resists these torsional forces, so your wheel will track straighter and you'll be able to hold a reliable line under braking (and when you're opening the throttle).

The whole RDO Fork is made with Niner's secret sauce carbon fiber, proprietary layups, and tube architecture, so it's light, stiff, and highly responsive. A special carbon weave is designed to maximize carbon's dampening properties, too, so you don't feel like you're getting vibrated to death or bounced around like you're riding a steel fork. At the top, a tapered steering tube integrates seamlessly to provide precise and reliable control with plenty of strength, and its seamless integration reduces stress-prone bonds that can squeak, creak, or worse. To top it off with a sense of adventure Niner equips the fork with rack mounts to carry their share of the load when you dive into overnight getaways into the backcountry.
