From what we’ve seen, these wheels are the perfect everyday road training and racing favorite. With a system that delivers lightweight and dynamic ride quality, and all of the added benefits of UST road tubeless technology, you’ll be flying on your next road ride.

This wheelset is constructed with Inter Spoke Milling (ISM) 4D technology that trims the thickness of the rim wall between spokes. This creates a lighter rim without sacrificing durability in Mavic's innovative process. This technology works with a wider, 19mm internal and 23mm external rim, to enforce rim staying power and improve your ride. The front wheel has been reinforced for disc brakes with the simple act of increasing the spoke count to 24.

We’ve got options for the hubs on this wheel. The Elite UST is compatible with a 12mm thru-axle on the front and a 15mm thru-axle or quick release on the rear. It can also be converted to a regular quick release from the 12 x 142mm rear axle it is delivered with. The rear wheel uses 24 straight-pull spokes, latched to Mavic’s lightweight, quick-engagement Instant Drive 360 freehub. This hub was released in Spring 2016, on Mavic’s first full carbon wheelset. Now, it has moved to share the love with updated hoops.

No tube never means no fun in our book, and with UST Road Tubeless, you’ll see less rolling resistance and higher speeds. With Mavic’s patented UST Road Tubeless technology, we’re seeing seamless integration between the Elite wheel and their new Yksion Pro UST tubeless tires. This patented system offers the ability to ride with lower tire pressure without risk of pinch flats, and a reduced risk of punctures thanks to tire sealant.
