When our favorite fast technical descent also requires a long climb as a buy-in, the Ibis Ripmo is the bike that we want to be riding. 147mm of seemingly bottomless DW-Link rear travel allows for plenty of traction for rocky enduro riding while not punishing us on the pedal up. The slack 64.9-degree head tube angle paired with 29in wheels provide exceptional downhill stability that has us frothing to send it through the next techy rock garden.
The X01 Ripmo build starts with the performance-focused SRAM X01 drivetrain which provides a wide gear range and crisp shifting for when those last-second gear changes sneak up on us. 160mm of travel upfront from the Fox Factory 38 provides plenty of support for sending it at the bike park or on the next enduro stage, while the 4-piston SRAM Code RSC brakes make sure we can stop on a dime when needed. Rounding out the package are a pair of Ibis Send alloy wheels paired with a set of sticky Maxxis Assegai tires to keep us rolling no matter how gnarly the trail gets. The Ibis Ripmo X01 is an enduro-ready race bike that just begs to be pushed to the limit day in and day out.
