Mojo 4 SLX Logo Carbon Wheel Mountain Bike

Whether we're deep into the hills on an epic ride or ripping around on our local trails, the Ibis Mojo 4 makes every ride a fun one. Built with a lightweight carbon frame, ultra-efficient DW-Link suspension, and snappy 27.5in wheels, the Mojo has a lively ride and can be pedaled all day without a fuss. When the trail points downhill, the bike feels confident and stable enough to get us down the mountain while turning every obstacle into a jump-worthy feature. This SLX 12-speed bike comes with Ibis S35 carbon wheels, saving a bit of weight for quicker accelerations and more responsive cornering.

The Mojo 4 requires a more calculated approach than its longer-travel sibling the Mojo HD5, but you reap the rewards of a bike that goes airborne on command and can be maneuvered through terrain with absolute precision. Geometry-wise the bike is right on the money for a modern trail bike, with the 65.4-degree head tube angle and generous reach figures giving the bike plenty of stability for fast, technical downhills, and the steep 76.6-degree seat tube providing a suitable perch for knocking out the climbs in comfort. The short 425mm chainstays paired with 27.5in wheels are a big reason for the playfulness and responsiveness we described above.

The Mojo 4 is masterfully crafted from premium lightweight carbon, featuring a sub-6lb frame weight while remaining very sturdy and offering the perfect balance of stiffness vs. compliance. All frame sizes have low standover heights and shortened seat tubes to accommodate long-travel dropper posts, while also helping us get a nice, low body position while descending. The frame features tube-in-tube internal cable routing, and it uses IGUS bushings in the lower suspension link for improved reliability and lower maintenance burden. All sizes fit a water bottle in the main triangle, and the bike can be fitted with the Ibis Pork Chop frame bag so you can store your tube, tools, and snacks on the bike instead of on your back.
