H3 Plus Carbon Road Wheel - Clincher

Excelling in time trials and triathlons, the HED H3 Plus Carbon Road Wheel is wider and deeper than its predecessor for increased speed, stability, and grip when every second is crucial. The H3 Plus retains the iconic carbon Airfoil design for uncompromising aerodynamics in a wide range of conditions. Drawing on over three decades of aero wheel design, HED's Airfoil section spokes cut drag at all angles for uncompromising speed in nasty crosswinds and variable wind patterns. Ultimately, this means you'll remain blazing fast, no matter what Mother Nature throws your way on race day.

Realizing that time trial racers are no longer riding 18 and 19mm tires, the redesigned H3 Plus has a wide 25.5mm rim that accommodates 25mm clinchers. Ridden with modern tire sizes, this widened rim profile boosts rolling speed while creating a smoother ride with better cornering grip. The deepened 60mm rim adds to your aerodynamic advantage, so you can transform countless training hours into podium finishes on race day. Moreover, the alloy braking track is superior to its carbon counterparts by remaining responsive throughout your race or training ride.

The H3 Plus is available as both a front and rear wheel, allowing for a customized setup to your unique needs and racing preferences. The HED Sonic H3 Hub is compatible with Shimano/SRAM 9,10, and 11-speed drivetrains; and 9 and 10-speed cassettes requiring separate spacers. Each wheel includes a titanium skewer and valve extender. Please note, the H3 Plus' widened profile is incompatible with many older time trial frames with limited clearance.
