I've been running with the 945 for over five years. It has gotten me through the Chicago Marathon, my BQ marathon, along with a handful of other races. This watch is durable, long lasting battery and handles the temps of New England very well. Those cold winter runs to hot summer runs

Buggy software

I am a lifetime Garmin fan. This forerunner )with phone-free LTE) is exactly the upgrade I had been dreaming about for years. But this is my second device that just keeps crashing on initial setup. Garmin has stopped making this watch, but I wish, instead that they had spent the time to get it right.

Ton of features. I am still learning them.

I received as a birthday gift from my daughter. I have been a long distance runner since 1977 (47 years). She wanted to bring me into the 21st century in terms of technology. I must admit this is a fascinating watch that monitors everything during my runs. Plus, it tracks all my miles and offers training suggestions. Unbelievable!

Does everything you need, from open water swimming, running and cycling

Super Smart Smart Watch

This watch is super cool and way smarter than I am. I'm still digging into it and trying to learn all of the features. My favorite thus far is the sleep monitoring functionality. I don't really need a timepiece, because I have my phone, however my wife said I've been snoring and don't seem to be sleeping well. This watch confirmed the issue and has given me a baseline to help figure out how to improve my sleep. I would highly recommend this watch for several reasons, but especially as a sleep monitor and heart rate monitor.

Black. Sleek. Functional.

I just picked up a Garmin Forerunner 945, and I am very pleased with it. It helps me monitor my heart rate, Vo2, Oxygen Saturation, and Sleep and has motivated me even more in training to keep moving forward on my quest for health. This is a great intermediate watch for athletes and a good entry into the Garmin product line. I purchased this product through Expert Voice and could not be happier with it!

Light weight

I can wear it overnight without it becoming annoying allowing me to get an overnight HRV reading.

Leave the phone at home, no worries

I use the FR945LTE on every run and ride and leave my phone at home. I have the ability to get emergency help if needed and just enjoy the workout. No worries.

I want to love this watch, but it's hard...

First, the quality of the watch is not acceptable. I've received two replacement watches because the "light and down" buttons "stuck." After about six months, no matter how well I cleaned the watch, the buttons would stick making scrolling impossible. Garmin was quick to replace, but with each replacement watch there are issues with setting up the watch. Why can't Garmin figure out how to simplify the subscription transfer or the add credit card process? Currently waiting on an escalated tech request to get it fixed. Meanwhile, I'm paying for a monthly subscription for Assistance Plus with no access to the service.

Muy bueno y confiable

Lo recomiendo funciona del todo bien lo único que no me gusta que no marca la temperatura en tiempo real estando desconectado del teléfono pero después todo funciona bastante bien se conecta bien con iPhone
