Forerunner 245 HR Music
When it's time to elevate your running game, track your daily activities, and enjoy your favorite music, grab the Forerunner 245 HR Music from Garmin and have all of your bases covered. It boasts some impressive features to keep your training activities on track and analyze every detail of your daily activity and recovery. The 245 HR Music will track your distance, pace, and exercise time and those metrics that are further supplemented with its Garmin Elevate wrist heart rate monitor and estimated VO2 Max. For daily activities, this watch tracks steps, distance, calories burned, and even stress to accurately assess your non-exercise time. As its music variant, it also provides the ability to sync with music streaming services, such as Spotify, to easily store and play your favorite songs right from your watch.
The fiber-reinforced polymer housing and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 crystal-clear lens conceal a GPS, Galileo, and GLONASS antenna, which is the basis for all the activity-tracking capabilities of the Forerunner 245. It can tell you how fast you're going, how far you've gone, whether you're on pace, how fast your heart's beating, how many calories you've burned, how much elevation you've gained, blood oxygen, and host of other metrics. It even provides custom, goal-oriented workouts that are downloadable with the Garmin Connect app. For indoor sessions, the 245's built-in accelerometer accurately captures distance and pace on the treadmill eliminating the need for bulky foot pods.
Once the Forerunner 245 has tracked all of these metrics, it can save them or automatically share them with Garmin Connect so you can see what you've done, the progress you've made, and start planning for the future. Among other things, it's compatible with ANT+, which lets your tracking devices talk to each other and share even more data. The 245 boasts a water-resistance rating of 5 ATM to withstand the forces of up to 50 meters of water and comes packaged with a charging/data clip and user manual.

The charging issue is very frustrating.
I bought my Forerunner 245 Music about a year ago and it was worked fine originally. For the past month, charging has been an issue and it now won't charge at all. The port is obviously a unique design so you need to go and find a replacement cable just to check where the issue is. Forums and Reddit are full of similar issues and various home remedies to solve them. It seems bizarre they haven't just improved the design itself.

Inaccurate measurement
I’m terribly disappointed over this watch. When I run 10 kilometers it measures up to 1 kilometer wrong. It has also measured wrong multiple times when swimming in pool. It also takes about a minute to get the pulse measured so it’s no use on intervals either.

I love my watch
I've been using my Forerunner 245 Music for about a month now. At first, I was a little wary of the change (I used to have a Venu Sq) because I thought that one tracked everything I could possibly need. Boy, was I wrong. Don't get me wrong, the Venu is still a good watch, but I wanted to take my training to the next level, and the Forerunner not only tracks my runs more accurately (GPS feature, and I can review more stats on the watch while I run), but it is also way more user friendly for strength training tracking. Would definitely recommend if you are someone who trains multiple disciplines at the same time.

Great Watch, Lots of features, battery issues.
This is my first Garmin watch. I enjoy the watch and I have been gaining a lot of insights into my training. I still have a lot to learn. The watch has a ton of features, unfortunately, all these features can be a huge battery drain. I am learning what features to use while maintaining a decent battery life. I found it very helpful that when I was having trouble with the battery I could find answers online easily. I enjoy my Garmin and look forward to using it for many years to come.

Amazing watch
I've had it for about a month and so far I love it. The music feature is great and the pacing is good. Overall a very good watch.

Cool and minimal with great features
I’m coming from a Fitbit and it was a bit harder to use at first due to it not being touchscreen and honestly now I love it so much. My favorite would be the pacing feature!

Missing features...
Previously I had a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active, and I was unhappy with the frequent need for battery recharging. I bought Garmin cause friends told me the battery would last longer, and it does. But, now I miss being able to synchronize Garmin Connect with my Multilaser Digital Scale HC059 (which worked perfectly with Samsung Health); I miss being able to turn off alarms and timers set up in the mobile phone just using the smartwatch (seems there is no way I can do it with Garmin); and I miss the touch screen (although I was aware Garmin didn't have one). Besides, I found it a bit tricky to understand and use. I have been watching videos besides reading the manual in order to fully enjoy it. But I tell you this, there is a lot of things in it and it is not easy to find them. So far, I am still missing my Samsung smart watch. Hope I come to better interact with my Garmin and just overcome the previous one. In addition, I only had two apps with the precious one: Samsung Wear and the scale on (FitDays). Now I need Garmin Connect and Connect IQ just for starters, but I realized I may need some others in order to properly interact with other activities... I really haven't realized that.

All that I need
I was given this for my birthday and I love it! Best present ever. I used to use my phone all the time to track my running and it wasn’t that best thing, so this is a much better convenience. I Can also Connect my AirPods and listen to my music through there. It had everything I need on a run. It charges super quickly, and lasts for a good week. Highly recommend getting!
