Two years- requesting service
History: I had my Fenix5 Sapphire for 5 years before deciding I want a slightly smaller watch with equal or greater performance (I handed down the older watch to a family member). I think the biggest downgrade initially was the fenix 7S Sapphire Solar seemed to have shorter battery, every other aspect met or exceeded expectations! After two years of loving this watch I am having difficulties, I tried all troubleshooting tips to have the buttons reset/stop glitching including soft and hard restarts and factory reset. After the factory reset I cannot get it to reconnect to Garmin Connect, so I contacted Garmin. Since I had already gone through all troubleshooting they have agreed to replace the watch with a recertified version at no cost once I send back the original (a downpayment until then). Based on some online browsing I am beginning to wonder if this will ultimately happen again. I sure do hope not, but until then hope to get a few more great years out of the recertified watch! Overall, Garmin support has been good, unsure if the technology is worth the cost if it only lasts two years but have been extremely happy with the watch up until this point!

Seemed cool
I bought this over a year ago and am now changing to a smart ring... the solar charge is not that great and it barley charges the watch. That sleep tracking was always messed up and now it hasn't even been tracking it just over all not very happy with it. It also made a mark on my skin where I wore it.

Do not buy and explore other brands
This watch has been replaced three times. I received a refurbished replacement and then a brand new replacement. The wrist heart rate monitor is pretty bad. The wrist HR monitor combined with connect is even worse. My heart rate zones: zone 3, 142-152; zone 4, 153-152; zone 5, >153. I just caught this after the wrist HR monitor has been faulty for over 2 months. The other watches had several issues with the wrist HR monitor. Compared to taking my actual pulse, the watch was wrong by 40-50 bpm. The battery on the brand new watches do not actually hold a charge for same length of time that is displayed. The refurbished watch was supposed to have 11d battery length, but really had 6d. The most recent new watch that I have needs to be charged around 7d instead of the 11d. I do not have a ton of texts and use the watch primarily for running and other non-GPS activities. For the amount of money, short warranty, and awful features, this is not worth the purchase.

Great features
Made the switch from Apple Watch to the Garmin Fenix 7s sapphire solar and I wish I would have done it sooner, connects to my phone easier than the apple Watch did, there are so many informative features and the battery life is awesome.

Garmin is still the BEST!
I used to be an Apple Watch owner. I had two of them and they broke each one after wear and tear. I decided to do some research and found Garmin and I got the Fenix 6S pro Solar and I had it for years and fell in love with Garmin. Such a better brand a better make last longer durable. It has so many more functions. It does so much more especially if you’re an athlete you will love this watch even if you’re not it has sleeping oxygen every kind of athletic sport you can think of. Well, the face of my watch ended up cracking and I couldn’t understand why and I spoke to Garman about it a couple of times and they really worked out an amazing deal with me and I now have the Fenix seven pro S sapphire, solar, and I thought the last one was amazing. This one is even more amazing. Garmin is the best. The only watch to really have. I will never use anything other than Garmin. I’m big on swimming walking and just being outside so I use my watch a lot and I cannot live without it. Thank you Garmin for making an amazing product.

I Love Data!
Love my Fénix 7 Solar Sapphire! I’m very motivated by tracking all my activities. I have my gym workouts saved and several cycling routes. I track my ocean rows in my single shell, and all my walks and rides, the tides, the weather, my heart rate, distance, time. The challenges are fun.

I use this item to track my workout and hikes and runs! I also rely on HRV and Health stats from the device to plan my workout intensity! So far, I have been impressed with the functionality and precision on this Garmin product and other Garmin products I own. Highly recommend it!

Great outdoors watch, downside is the proprietary charger
The Garmin Fenix 7S Solar Sapphire is an exceptional product. With an impressively long battery life that's further extended by solar charging, it ensures you're always powered up for your adventures. Its design is not only functional but also considerate of those with smaller wrists, making it a great option for anyone seeking a compact yet powerful smartwatch. However, one downside is the proprietary charger, which can be a bit inconvenient. Despite this, it remains a highly recommended choice!

Great
I have had this watch for over a year now, and the battery and it is not holding the charge like it did in the beginning. The watch has a lot of features that I may not ever use. I haven't really noticed the solar making any difference in the charge. I am still happy with all the features that I am aware of and able to use. I am hoping that the battery doesn't lose any more of the capacity as it ages. It offers a lot of recommendations for your daily activities.
