Fēnix® 7 – Sapphire Solar Edition

The fēnix® 7 – Sapphire Solar Edition is an exceptional multisport GPS smartwatch that blends rugged durability with advanced features. The build quality is outstanding, with a sleek yet tough design that holds up in extreme conditions. The Sapphire lens provides excellent scratch resistance, and the solar charging extends battery life impressively, especially for outdoor adventures. Performance-wise, the watch excels in tracking a wide range of activities—from running and hiking to skiing and swimming. GPS accuracy is reliable, and the detailed health metrics (heart rate, Pulse Ox, sleep tracking) are valuable for fitness and overall wellness monitoring. One standout feature is the seamless integration with Garmin Connect, offering detailed insights and customizable workout plans. The touchscreen, combined with traditional buttons, makes navigation intuitive in any environment. Pros: Solar charging extends usage Premium, rugged design Accurate GPS and health tracking Long battery life Excellent sport mode variety Cons: Pricey, but worth it for serious athletes and outdoor enthusiasts Can be bulky for smaller wrists Overall: The fēnix® 7 – Sapphire Solar Edition is a top-tier smartwatch for anyone serious about performance, adventure, and durability. Highly recommended.

Great watch with every feature you could want

Amazing watch, hasn't left my wrist since I got it. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I managed to scratch the screen mountain biking. I'd assumed it couldn't be scratched by dirt.

Wanted so badly to love this watch.

I had researched for almost a YEAR on what watch would best fit my needs and also have best features and battery. I was tired of charging my Apple Watch daily. I got this one, which is insanely priced and the battery only lasts for 10 days, even though almost every review said MINIMUM 16 days. I have no extra apps, no texting, no phone calls enabled. I have just 1 workout per day and that’s it! I warrantied it out thinking maybe it’s a fluke and battery is bad. I’ve had the new (refurbished) one for a week now and it was fully charged Sunday night, started with 100% Monday 3/23 and it died tonight, 3/28. So disappointed and upset that I spent so much on this watch and the battery lasts 1/3 of the length of time it’s supposed to.

Great Features

I love this watch. So many fantastic features that anyone who is looking to improve their fitness or general health would benefit from. The fitness and navigation aspects of this watch are amazing. I very much enjoy finding new trails to explore either through Garmin Connect or by findings trails through other vendors like AllTrails and being able to upload the map on my watch. This has made hiking so much more enjoyable for me. I just wish there was a little more improvement on the smartwatch side, like better texting and better choice on what notifications make it through the interface.

Great watch potential

The garmin as a company and product is top notch and all the features on the watch are amazing. Its getting 3 start because they have not fixed the sensor reading tattooed skin. You can’t get any vitals info. There are plant of videos on YouTube to do a DIY add-on to make it work. Garmin, please fix this issue as there is a large population that has tattoos and there is no reason why people are running around searching for solutions. You should have the solution on your website. I’ll update this to 5 start when you figure it out. Again, the watch and features are amazing if you don’t have tattoos on lower sleeves.

Amazing Watch

First off, it's been a while since I've had a smart watch, I believe a first gen Apple. This thing is amazing! I mainly wanted it to track fitness, as I'm always concerned with using battery life on my phone for Strava, so having this has been a game changer. The battery life is crazy good! And it seemlessy integrates with Strava, and even Apple Health. And, it tells time too! There are so many functions this thing can do that I'm not even aware of, but just being able to track fitness, check emails and texts, and see what time it is without having to pull my phone out of my pocket has been a game changer. It's been great so far...

Amazing features

I received my fenix7 as a gift and have been so impressed with the design, quality, an abundance of useful features. As a runner the recorded data is useful in planning future runs and strategies. The gps is integral in mapping and planning runs, races, hikes and snowshoeing adventures.
