Great quality but runs small

You can tell that these knee guards are high quality and well thought out. I love the zipper feature which allows you to put them on right over your knee instead of having to pull them up over your foot. I found however that they run very small! I am 5'9", 140 lb female. So I am not petite but by no means am I large either. I was surprised at how tight and uncomfortable the size medium was for me, especially when the sizing is supposed to be unisex. I don't believe that even with stretching they would fit well enough and I had to return. Hopefully they work for others though!
