FOX's 32 Float SC 29 FIT4 Remote Adjust Factory Boost Fork is here to help mitigate your weight issues, scaling in as the brand's lightest 29er fork that's built to chase down podiums and PR's at warp speeds. Fox's innovative Step Cast (SC) chassis shaves weight with stepped lower legs that are 10-millimeters narrower than standard Float 32 forks, though its smooth, sensitive ride quality remains unchanged rom the standard Float 32 forks. This means you get to keep all of the tunable support of the Float air spring, and stable tracking of the sleek 32-millimeter stanchions. To sweeten things further, it packs in Fox's EVOL (extra volume negative air spring) technology from FOX's rear shocks to increase small bump sensitivity, and a two-position remote for quick lockouts on punchy straightaways that transition to a relaxed, plush descent on the turn of a dime.

Seeing as its ten millimeters narrower, the engineers at FOX designed the 32 Float Step Cast with stepped lowers to accommodate disc brake hardware, spokes, and 2.3-inch tires without creating clearance issues. Not only does this stepped lower provide ample clearance for disc brakes, plus wheels and tires, but it also significantly reduces the weight, thanks to the hollow lower stanchion that's resultant of shortening the upper tube length, and raising the magnesium lower assembly. This translates to maximized efficiency in cross-country and marathon racing, where every gram saved is absolutely critical to your success.

The 32 Float Step Cast sports a lightweight version of the Fit4 damper, with 3-position adjust for on-the-fly switching between open, medium, and firm modes, plus it packs in a 2-position adjustable remote. The remote allows you to lock the fork out when you need an extra punch of power, without reaching down to your fork crown, so you can keep in control, preserve energy, and save time when you're sprinting for the finish line, or standing up to attack a buff section of trail. The Float Air spring uses EVOL technology, which is FOX's term for increasing negative air spring volume for a more supple feel, and increased sensitivity to soaking up bumps, rocks, and roots along the way.

Fox's 32 Float Step Cast comes with a Kabolt thru-axle (bolt on) that shaves weight, while maintaining security. This particular Kabolt thru-axle is the Boost version for increased front wheel stiffness, and precise tracking when the trail gets a little hairy, and power counts.
