Argo Vento R3 Saddle
The Argo is Fizik’s most versatile saddle shape, meant to fit a wide range of riders, and the Vento R3 model is ideal for training and racing, with its ergonomic design and lightweight nylon shell. The ergonomic center cutout and dropped nose design prevents numbness and pressure on soft tissue so we can focus on our pedal stroke, while the reactive foam padding optimizes power transfer and rider comfort. Fizik’s R3 shell with ride-compliant carbon-reinforced nylon and Kium hollow rails enhances comfort for the tough training sessions.

Great

Needed a new saddle for on my trainer, it took a few of rides to get it adjusted, but once I did it was great. My old saddle would cause my shoulders to be sore no matter how I adjusted it. I gave it 4 stars because padding could be better, I wear a number of different shorts with different style pads, and I notice a difference compared to my other Fizik Aliante saddle

I have used every sale there is... well at least 25 didn't ones. These are the best ones I have ridden. I have three, one for each bike.

I suffered most of last season swapping saddles and had constant chafing. I rode a Selle SMP saddle for several months, but it constantly irritated my skin (think it has something to do with the fixed position it holds your body in). Everyone I know that has one really raves about them, but it wasn't for me. I bought the Fizik Argo, which is a totally different design and it took care of the chafing, but numbs your backside after about 45 minutes. I would have returned the saddle but it was outside of the window. I just did not get a chance to put enough miles on it over the winter to fairly asses the fit (was mainly on my MTB). Incidentally, I think CC is a great etailor and their return policy is fair, I just "sat on it" for too long. My waist is a 31 and I bought the 140

Wasn't the right saddle for me
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I was comparing this saddle alongside Bontrager Aeolus Comp Bike Saddle and I just couldn't get comfortable in this Fizik saddle! Comparing the two, the Fizik is harder, has a little longer nose and is a little wider. All in all, the difference meant that, after about 30mins, I was always thinking about the pain on my backside rather than pain in my legs. Shame as I thought they look quite nice.
