Why We Like The Favero Assioma DUO Pedal
The Favero Assioma DUO Pedal provides extremely accurate power data as we ride straight from our pedals. With a dual-sided design, this pedal measures individually our power output on both legs to show our power within a +/- 1% accuracy as well as our L/R balance. The Assioma DUO pedals are easy to install independently without needing a mechanic and are easy to connect to our devices with connectivity from both Bluetooth and ANT+.

Just works

I have 2 pairs, been working great for 3 years. Replaced bearings once after riding in bad weather, not a big deal. Love the convenience for traveling.

I do not recommend

I no longer use these but used theme a lot over the past 2.5 years. At first, they were great. I used them to train with on a peloton using trainer road - they paired well and worked well. I also used them for road rides over that time period. As time has progressed, one pedal has completely stopped pairing - it appears on but doesn’t pair with the assigns app or any 3rd party apps. Further, the one transmitting pedal constantly “drops out” during training sessions. Sometimes when this happens it will not pair again with TR or the assigns app. The only fix I’ve found is to let the pedals die, then fully charge them. Still, this leaves me with only one transmitting pedal and it works only a few sessions before no longer pairing with anything. I guess I’m done with these after 2.5 years. I’d love to contact assioma CS but I need the serial numbers from each pedal to do so. The serial numbers are available via the app once the pedals are paired. But the pedals aren’t pairing so…… And yes, pedals are updated with the latest firmware. I now have a better training set up and power meters on all bikes so these pedals are on the shelf. I do not recommend. I recommend finding the extra money and buying a more reliable brand.

I replaced an old pair of Powertap pedals (P2) and have put about 500 miles on the new Favero's. So far I am pleased with the purchase. They sync up well with my head unit and are easy to perform zero offset prior to riding. My old P2's would drop from my head unit on almost every ride for a short period of time. I have not had any issues with the new pedals. The readings are consistent and they have never quit communicating with my Karoo Hammerhead unit. I was a little concerned about battery life but they are still at 70-80% battery after quite a bit of use. I would recommend these pedals based on their performance, ease of use and price.
