Carogna Road Tubular Gluing Tape

Bridging the gap between existing tape and mastic tape in terms of gluing performance and heat-resistance, the Carogna Road Tubular Gluing Tape is incredibly easy to use and provides very reliable adhesion in any condition to show why it's a clear-cut riding necessity. Ready for any situation, the Carogna tape's been tested and is designed to perform equally well on any rim material (aluminum, carbon), with any tubular (seamless, handmade, vulcanized sew-ups, etc.), both on and off-road.

Effetto Mariposa understands that different adhesion is required for both the rim and tube, which is why they implemented a double-sided, application-specific design. One side is semi-structural and removable for the rim, where adhesion is guaranteed by industrial-grade acrylic glue that, when removing the tubular, the acrylic glue stays on the tape, not on the rim. Then, the tubular side is permanent thanks to a 1mm-thick layer of permanent glue developed for underwater applications, which moves and spreads when the tubular is first inflated to ensure optimal contact with any tubular base tape geometry.
