Easton's EA50 Aero wheel is made from the proprietary sleeved EA50 aluminum alloy. This material selection not only works to reduce weight, but its forging process also promotes a heightened rigidity. Immediately, you'll notice a stiff wheel that explodes on sprints and predictably tracks through alpine chicanes. For the new 2012 model, Easton has reworked its bread-and-butter rim design to create a more aerodynamic profile. The 30mm deep sidewalls slope inwards, and when combined with 24 radial-laced, bladed spokes, the EA50 cuts through headwinds. Most importantly, the new integrated aero properties accentuate the existing, classic workhorse principles of the EA50. You get the same strength, only faster.

Every EA50 wheel is built and sonically trued by hand to ensure a perfectly balanced product. It rolls on sealed cartridge bearings that help make the EA50 Easton's most versatile wheel.
