The shoe's outsole is made of EVA, rubber, and a composite-reinforced insert that accommodates a two-bolt cleat in the gym or while you're commuting. You'll have an EVA foam insert and a shaped heel cup to add shape and support to the inside of the shoe, and although you'll still have cleats to contend with, the cushioned outsole makes walking or doing errands after a workout much easier than with a traditional pair of cycling shoes.
