the best!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I've searched high and low for knee pads that can be worn on all day cross country rides in the heat of the humid east coast summer. These are the winners. These feel like almost nothing on. I have occasionally gotten a little chaffing on the back of my knee but it's an ok tradeoff for all day comfort otherwise. I have no issue wearing these on 90 degree humid days. I only once had an issue with them not staying up. Another nice thing is that the top comes up high enough on your leg that you can wear it with spandex (cool I know but on the hottest days this is the most comfortable) or tuck them under your liner shorts and not get any weird skin gaps. Ordering a backup pair for sure. I may size down and see how that fits since mine are just a tiny bit bigger than I prefer

Great knee pad
I went from the Dakine slayer to these and boy, oh-boy! These things are not only light, but so comfortable. You can feel the breeze from every angle on this pad. Riding in the Arizona heat, I need breathable protection. Make sure you really measure. A large was falling down on me at the top of the thigh.
