Perfect heavy trail shoe if you do clips

I love these shoes. I ride clips on all my bikes and they all have BOA dials. When looking for my next pair for burlier rides, I knew I wanted something with a dial instead of laces. These ended up fitting my feet perfectly. I have regular to narrow-ish feet (Shimano, Pearl Izumi, Giro all fit me well) and these cinched down quickly with the strap and the dial got the perfect hug on my midfoot without any wrinkle towards the toe. The shoe has great support and spreads the load well when landing drops and other big impacts. My feet feel well protected too from trail obstacles and flying debris but they're still light and breathe well. I like the little collar around the ankle to keep stuff out. The sole seems very cushioned and grippy on hike-a-bike sections but it doesn't interfere at all when coming in and out of the pedals. I really can't ask for more in a trail shoe. I would happily wear these on lift access, park days too.
